Yellow Fever	Africa, Central and South America	Anyone entering a yellow fever risk area must receive a yellow fever vaccination 10 days before entry and carry an internationally recognized vaccination certificate.
Cholera (Not Mandatory)	Africa, Central and South America, Southeast Asia	The oral cholera vaccine, taken twice (1 to 6 weeks apart), provides 85–90% protection and is recommended for travelers to high-risk areas or those staying long-term.

Things to Prepare for Vaccination

Please check in advance for information on infectious diseases in the country you are visiting.
Please visit a public health center or general hospital (infectious disease department, travel clinic) 4–6 weeks (at least 2 weeks) before departure for consultation and necessary vaccinations (preventive medication).
※ Recommended vaccinations (preventive medications) before travel: Yellow fever, malaria (preventive medication), typhoid, tetanus, hepatitis A, meningococcal meningitis, etc.
※ Get vaccinated if you have not received basic immunizations such as MMR, DPT, influenza, chickenpox, and polio.
Special care is needed for children, pregnant women, seniors over 65, and those with chronic illnesses, as some vaccines may not be suitable. Therefore, consultation with a specialist is required.
