Before making a purchase, please check the affiliated stores for domestic tax refund.
When purchasing items (over KRW 15,000), request a purchase receipt and tax refund documents (passport required).
You must keep the issued purchase receipt and refund documentation until your departure.

You cannot get a tax refund if not requesting for the refund documentation. Refund may also be refused if the documentation is filled incompletely.

To account for airport congestion, please arrive with sufficient time before your departure. Check in at the airline counter and receive your boarding pass. Do not check refund-eligible items and related documents as baggage; carry them with you instead. Visit the kiosk in the departure hall to process your refund, and if the kiosk indicates that your items require customs inspection, submit your passport, purchased items (unopened and unused), and purchase confirmation to the customs desk for clearance.	Inform the airline staff during check-in that there are tax refund-eligible items in your checked baggage. Attach a tag to your baggage for customs inspection and reclaim it, then visit the kiosk in the departure hall to process the refund. If the kiosk indicates customs inspection is required, present your passport, purchased items (unopened and unused), and purchase confirmation to the customs desk for clearance. Place the baggage that has been cleared by customs onto the large baggage conveyor belt located next to the customs desk.

Domestic Tax Refund via Automated Kiosk

When you scan your passport at the automated kiosk, the refund amount will be processed according to the approved records.
If the refund amount is large or if you prefer not to receive cash, you can choose to have the refund credited to your own credit card.
