Analysis of Aircraft Noise Measurement Results & Research on Mitigation Measures

The data measured at each monitoring station is transmitted to the Environmental Management Office at Incheon Airport, where it is monitored in real-time.
In areas without fixed monitoring stations, aircraft noise is measured using mobile noise monitoring vehicles.
Through this comprehensive measurement and result analysis, research is continuously conducted to develop measures for reducing aircraft noise. Furthermore, the measurement results are provided to the Seoul Regional Office of Aviation, among others, to serve as reference when establishing operational procedures.
The results measured at the noise monitoring stations are available on the Incheon Airport website, the National Noise Information System, and the Airport Noise Information System.
