President & CEO of Incheon International Airport Corporation
Lee Hag-jae
We aspire to transcend our status as the world’s top airport
and emerge as a pioneering force in the global airport industry!
Greetings! I am Lee Hag-jae, President & CEO of Incheon International Airport Corporation.
We extend our heartfelt welcome to everyone visiting the Incheon International Airport website. Launched in 2001 with the vision of becoming Northeast Asia’s hub, Incheon International Airport has climbed to the 2nd spot in international cargo and 5th place in international passenger traffic globally, powered by public support, government policies, and hard work of 70,000 airport employees. In the aftermath of the COVID-19 challenges, the aviation industry and airport ecosystem are engaged in a tough competition for demand, with airports being called upon to act as platforms that unite industry, economy, and culture. Furthermore, the rapid evolution of digital technology and the mobility revolution continue to create new opportunities and challenges. In this regard, we are set to complete the Terminal 2 expansion project by 2024, integrating cutting-edge IT innovations to create unparalleled passenger-oriented value and to expand Incheon Airport’s role from a transportation hub to a center for regional and national economic development, tourism, and industrial growth, ultimately re-emerging as a global mega-hub. Empowered by the public’s trust, we aspire to be a leading world-class airport, always attentive to your feedback, guided by the conviction that “the answer lies in the field.” We ask for your support and encouragement as Incheon International Airport continues to adapt and deal with challenges to shape a new future. Thank you.
