Incheon International Airport Corporation conducts 24-hour real-time monitoring of air quality, aircraft noise, water quality, and indoor air quality.A remote monitoring system has been established and is being operated to monitor the discharge from various water treatment facilities. The Environmental Management Office, located within the Air Integrated Communication Center (AICC), collects and analyzes data sent in real-time from each monitoring station and surveillance system to track and monitor environmental changes in Incheon Airport and its surrounding areas.

Location of Environmental Surveillance System
Incheon International Airport completed the establishment of environmental surveillance facilities capable of continuous monitoring of environmental impact factors 24/7, such as aircraft noise and air quality, in October 2000. Since then, it has been running these facilities while continuously extending and repositioning them in response to changes in the surrounding environment to optimize environmental monitoring efforts.
