Phase 4 Construction Projects
The era of 100 million passengers has begun.
Incheon International Airport now has the capacity to accommodate 106 million passengers and handle 6.3 million tons of cargo annually, thanks to the construction of a fourth runway and the expansion of the second passenger terminal, which were completed over a seven-year, four-phase construction project. With this framework established, we will adapt to shifts in the airport industry paradigm, enhance our future competitive advantage, and advance into the “Incheon Airport 4.0” era to create new value.

The Airport Railroad Express was connected to the fourth underground floor of Traffic Center 2 to guarantee passenger flow from the downtown area. In particular, the connecting railroad was constructed to enable transport between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 in just five minutes to improve passenger convenience and help passengers who have mistakenly arrived at a wrong terminal to be able to quickly move to the correct one.
