Operation of Energy Management System (ISO 50001)

Incheon International Airport Corporation has established an enterprise-wide, continuous energy management system by developing an energy management system, having it evaluated for compliance by a third party, and maintaining ISO 50001 certification as it continuously upholds its operational integrity.

ACI Airport Carbon Accreditation Level 4 Achievement

In September 2023, Incheon International Airport Corporation acquired the ACI Airport Carbon Accreditation Level 4 (Transformation) certification. The ACI Airport Carbon Accreditation program is the only international certification system that evaluates and accredits the greenhouse gas management capabilities of airports, and Incheon Airport achieved Level 4 by proving its greenhouse gas management performance including not only the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1, 2, 3) from airport operations but also the setting of medium- to long-term emission reduction targets, scenario development, and management of partnerships with stakeholders.
