Prohibiting the international transfer of National Heritage
Transfer out of the country only allowed in the case of approval from the Director of the National Heritage Administration for the purposes of international cultural exchange.
In order to receive transfer approval, you must submit an application to the Director of the National Heritage Administration 3 months in advance.
In the case of exporting or transferring without approval, you will be punishable under the National Heritage Protection Act. (minimum 3 years of imprisonment)
Any goods that might be mistaken to be National Heritage should be appraised at the Cultural Heritage Appraisal Room at least 3 hours before departure.
