Highest Rating in ACI Customer Experience Evaluation for Three Consecutive Years



Incheon Airport has achieved the highest rating in the customer experience evaluation, conducted by ACI, for three consecutive years!
It is the only airport in the world, that has maintained the 'Highest Level of Customer Experience Certification' for three years.

In addition, it has won the ASQ 'Airport of the Year' award and the 'Most Enjoyable Airport' award.

These achievements of Incheon Airport have firmly established its position at the top of the airport service and customer experience sector. 
Incheon Airport will continue to share its valuable knowledges to other airports around the world through global customer experience training programs.


 ‘Minister of the Interior and Safety Award’ at the 2024 Korea Safety Technology Awards
  



Incheon International Airport Corporation has received the 'Minister of the Interior and Safety Award' at the '2024 Korea Safety Technology Awards'!
This award is for its achievements in stabilizing smart equipment diagnostics for the baggage handling system (BHS) and improving the working environment for employees.
 
In particular, the increase in the stability of the BHS and the assurance of employee safety, that directly impact passenger service quality, received high praise.
 
Incheon Airport plans to promote digital transformation, using advanced technologies like big data, robotics, and AI, to enhance its future operational competitiveness.


✅ The '2024 Green Report' Award
  



Incheon International Airport Corporation won the '2024 Green Report' award  at the '2023 Vision Awards', organized by the U.S. Communication Alliance (LACP)! 

This prestigious competition involved over 1,000 institutions from around the world participating each year.
Incheon Airport scored full marks in 7 out of 8 categories, including first impression, cover design, and report content, and achieved a score of 99.
 
The report included its achievements in expanding renewable energy, establishing hydrogen charging stations, and obtaining level 4 of airport carbon certification.
 
This moment indicates that Incheon Airport's effort to reduce cardon emissions has been globally recognized! 


✅ Celebration event for Expanded Use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel



Incheon Airport has entered the era of commercial operations using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)!
Incheon International Airport Corporation held a event to celebrate the expanded use of SAF.

This event was attended by around 20 organizations, which are from the government to airline and oil industry. 

The launch of commercial operations, using fuel mixed with 1% SAF on Incheon-Haneda route of Korean Air, has marked a significant milestone.
 
Incheon Airport has been conducting research and demonstration projects to introduce SAF since 2022 and planning to expand SAF usage.
Moreoever, various organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Expanding the Use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel to accelerate SAF use. 


✅ Foreign Object Debris Collection Event for Newly Expanded Apron Area



Incheon Airport conducted a 'Foreign Object Debris (F.O.D.) collection event' following the completion of the Terminal 2 apron expansion!
This event was part of environmental maintenance, involving construction officials to prepare for trial operations and opening of the expanded apron area.

Since F.O.D. can threaten the safety of aircraft, it is cruicial to conduct the collection process.  
Over 50 officials used cleaning vehicles to maintain cleanliness in the expanded area.


✅ Korean Literature Media Exhibition
 



Incheon Airport hosts a Korean literature media exhibition named "Breaking Borders: The Flight of Korean Literature" from September 16 to December 31!
This exhibition, in collaboration with the Korean Literature Translation Institute, features animations of author Hae-jin Jo's novel "The Escort of Light",
as well as poet Seung-hee Kim's "Invitation to Travel" on nine large screens at Terminal 1 and 2.

This exhibition aims to promote Korean literature worldwide, reflecting the airport's unique characteristics.
